Who is the pediatric first aid course intended for?

Childcare providers

In preschools, after-school care centers, daycare centers, or other child care facilities (KiTas), at least one first-aider must be available for each group of children. The Accident Insurance Fund recommends that all educators receive first-aid training.

Teachers

At least 15% of teachers at the school must be able to provide first aid. This is mandatory—not just for physical education teachers. This course is specifically designed for educators who work with children up to 12 years of age.

Daycare Providers

Many child care facilities also require staff to complete a first-aid course. We provide training for child care providers, either individually or in groups, with a focus on infants.
